Qualifications:

. Minimum Grade 12

. Safety officer qualification from accepted institution

. Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment

. Blasting License Certificate

. Valid First Aid Certificate.

. Valid Silicosis.

Experience:

. At least 5 years of experience in similar positions with 3 of those years in the position required (Underground Mining)

Responsibilities:

- To ensure the compliance of all policies, procedures, plans, programs, and other initiatives at his/her Site on Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment matters.

- To disseminate policies, procedures, plans, programs, and others documents and information at his/her Site on Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment matters.

- To ensure achievement of the objectives, fulfilment of goals, and perform of programs established by the Organization regarding Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment at his/her Site.
