Tim Motors Zambia Limited, established in 2018, is an authorized distributor of SINOTRUK in Zambia. We specialize in the sale and rental of heavy- and light-duty vehicles, including tippers, tractors, concrete mixers, cargo trucks, and utility vehicles. Our operations also extend to construction machinery, heavy equipment, spare parts, supported by reliable after-sales services
Join our growing team! We are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to fill the following positions:
Sales Assistants (2 Positions)
The sales assistants will support the sales team by engaging customers, promoting products or services, and helping to close sales. They will handle inquiries, maintain product knowledge, process transactions, and ensure a positive customer experience while contributing to overall sales targets.
Responsibilities or duties
- Promote and sell commercial vehicles, construction machinery, and heavy equipment
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations
- Follow up on leads and close sales effectively
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility
- Provide excellent after-sales support to clients
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field
- Proven experience in selling commercial vehicles, construction machinery, heavy equipment, or mining equipment
- Knowledge of trucks (especially Chinese products)
- Strong marketing skills (digital marketing skills will be an added advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Government relationship
- Good understanding of the Zambian market
Additional Skills and Attributes
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset
- Chinese speaker (added advantage)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
