We are inviting applications for the vacant position:
POSITION: SALES AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER
LOCATION: KITWE, ZAMBIA
CONTRACT: PERMANENT
Reporting to the Brewery Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
- Lead and manage the territorial Sales & Distribution team to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets.
- Oversee distributor/wholesaler management, sales forecasting, and order planning.
- Drive execution excellence (availability, visibility, pricing, promotions, POSM deployment).
- Monitor and analyze market performance, competitor activities, and commercial trends.
- Ensure consistent and timely product distribution through optimized logistics coordination.
- Lead route-to-market improvements and implement performance dashboards.
- Build strong customer relationships and lead regular trade visits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and financial controls.
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
MAIN SPECIFICATIONS
State any special abilities and/or experience he/she should have:
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in FMCG sales and distribution leadership.
- Strong understanding of route-to-market models and distributor management.
- Experience with sales execution tools, demand planning, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
State preferable educational level:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in FMCG sales and distribution leadership.
- Strong understanding of route-to-market models and distributor management.
- Experience with sales execution tools, demand planning, and logistics coordination.
