The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing relationships. The role focuses on promoting fintech products and services such as digital payments, mobile money solutions, agency banking, and FX/OTC services, while ensuring compliance with applicable Zambian financial regulations.

  • Identify and acquire new clients including SMEs, corporates, and high-volume merchants.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and transaction growth targets.
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Promote fintech solutions such as payment gateways, wallets, POS solutions, and cross-border payment services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and growth.
  • Provide ongoing support and advisory to clients on product usage and optimization.
  • Conduct regular client visits and performance reviews.
  • Maintain deep understanding of fintech products and services offered by the organization.
  • Educate clients on digital financial solutions and their benefits.
  • Provide tailored solutions based on client needs and industry dynamics.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in Zambia.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and product enhancements.
  • Ensure all onboarding activities comply with AML/CFT requirements and KYC procedures.
  • Support due diligence processes in collaboration with compliance and risk teams.
  • Adhere to internal policies and guidelines, including data protection and consumer protection standards.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts.
  • Track key performance indicators such as transaction volumes, revenue, and client acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of digital financial services and fintech ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of Zambian financial regulations and market structure.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive for achieving targets.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with requirements from the Bank of Zambia.
  • Understanding of AML/CFT obligations under the Financial Intelligence Centre.
  • Awareness of data protection and consumer protection standards applicable to fintech operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Experience in digital payments, mobile money, or FX/OTC markets is an added advantage.
