JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Person will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following

  • Actively sourcing and acquiring new microfinance clients
  • Marketing and selling microfinance products (loans and related services)
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Conducting client appraisals and preliminary credit assessments
  • Collecting and verifying client documentation
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Following up on loan repayments and assisting in collections where necessary
  • Conducting field visits and market activations
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven microfinance sales experience is a MUST
  • Any tertiary qualification (business, finance, marketing, or related field is an added advantage)
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict targets
  • Honest, disciplined, and results-driven
  • Must be based in Lusaka, Solwezi, Kitwe, or Kabwe
