Background

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Representative – Agronomy Products to drive sales and support customers within the Agricultural sector. This is a mid-entry level opportunity for candidates with relevant qualifications and practical experience in agriculture or agronomy.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products, and other agronomic solutions.

Build and maintain relationships with farmers, commercial growers, agro-dealers, and agricultural stakeholders.

Conduct field visits and provide technical advice on crop management practices.

Identify new sales opportunities and grow the customer portfolio.

Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates.

Organize and participate in product demonstrations, field days, and promotional campaigns.

Achieve sales targets and support business growth initiatives.

Follow up on customer enquiries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, or a related field.

2 years of relevant experience in agronomy, agricultural sales, crop production, or a related role.

Strong understanding of crop production, fertilizers, seeds, and crop protection products.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.

Must be based in Lusaka or willing to relocate.
