JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-shift vehicle checks and ensuring efficient vehicle functionality.
• Driving staff, visitors to various destinations.
• Provide logistical support for movement of raw material and products to various destinations.
• Ensure vehicles are always clean through scheduled cleaning of the vehicle fleet.
• Timely reporting of faults, defects and accidents in line with vehicle policy provisions.
• Ensure the safety and security of assigned vehicles.
• Loading and offloading material and products.
• Participate in sales and marketing initiatives which include embarking on van sales routes.
• Meet sales targets by actively promoting and selling company products.
• Ensure accurate and timely record keeping.

Qualifications/ Competencies

• Grade 12 School certificate.
• A flare for sales field work would be an added advantage.
• A clean Driver’s license with a minimum of at least two years driving in a formal organizational setup.
• Experience in driving manual transmission vehicles.
