Legacy Manufacturers Limited is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Zambian owned company looking for 4 suitably qualified candidates to fill in the position of Salesperson with the following responsibilities and attributes.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the Salesperson role is to promote and sell the company’s products and services to achieve sales targets and increase revenue. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities or duties
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Promote and sell company products and services to existing and potential customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales reports.
- Follow up on customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Full Grade 12 School/Form V Certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- Three (3) year relevant experience
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Promote and sell company products and services to existing and potential customers.
