JOB DETAILS:
Background
A private secondary school in Makeni, Lusaka invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Secondary School Teacher with a combination of Civic Education and Mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction and supporting the academic and personal development of learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Civic Education and Mathematics in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials.
- Assess and monitor learners’ academic progress.
- Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and co-curricular activities.
- Promote discipline and positive learner engagement in the classroom.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Secondary Education with a combination of Civic Education and Mathematics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Practicing License is required.
