Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of company premises, staff, guests, and property. The successful candidate will maintain a secure environment by monitoring, patrolling, and enforcing security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or theft
• Control access to the facility by checking identification and authorizing entry
• Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies
• Write and submit accurate daily security reports and incident logs
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Conduct inspections of security equipment and report faults
• Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary

Requirements / Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate (minimum)
• Security training certificate or relevant qualification (added advantage)
• Proven experience in security services (at least 2–3 years preferred)
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
• High level of integrity and discipline
• Clean record

Added Advantage

• Experience in hospitality
• First Aid or Fire Safety training
