Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, the candidate will play a critical role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and collaborate closely with other departments to maintain financial health and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting systems
- Provide insights and analysis to support business decisions and budgeting
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field （ICAN/ACCA certified preferred）
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in accounting, preferably in the logistics or related sector
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Any account package)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
