Our client is looking for a Senior Elevator and Escalator Supervisor to join their team in Zambia.

Responsibilities:
• Supervising and executing elevator installations (mechanical & electrical), testing and
commissioning
• Supervision and execution of Service & Maintenance (including fault finding and repair)
works on escalators and elevators.
• Supervision, management, and on-site training of technician teams for the execution of the
respective installation and maintenance works.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or similar
technical qualification
• Must have at least 5-10 years’ experience
• Very strong and founded technical and practical knowledge in installation, commissioning,
service and maintenance of elevators and escalators.
• Experience working with ThyssenKrupp Elevator (now TKE) Technology and Equipment
• Experience in Technical Training of Technicians under his/her supervision.
• In-depth experience on Projects and Site Management.
• Ability to maintain good relationships with Clients & Suppliers.
• Customer Satisfaction driven orientation
The selected candidate will be based in Lusaka, Zambia and will be responsible for: Audit Management: Coordinating and managing external audits across Sweden, Zambia, and Malawi, ensuring timely completion and compliance with local regulatory requirements. Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial reporting across the Group. Accounting Software Implementation & Integration: Leading the implementation of a new accounting system, ensuring smooth integration with the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) systems and alignment across all jurisdictions. Intercompany Transactions & Consolidation: Managing intercompany reconciliations and financial consolidation across multiple entities. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting: Ensuring compliance with relevant tax, financial, and statutory regulations in Sweden, Zambia, and Malawi. Process Improvement: Developing and implementing best practices in financial processes, controls, and reporting structures. Grant and Technical Assistance Reporting: Managing and preparing grant reports, technical assistance reports, and other donor-related financial reporting requirements to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submissions. Investor and Board Reporting: Supporting the CFO in preparing detailed financial reports and presentations for investors and the board. Expected Deliverables: Defined monthly financial reporting framework for all jurisdictions. Successful completion of external audits across the Group. Full implementation and integration of the new accounting system. Compliance with tax and financial regulations across all operating countries. Regular, accurate, and timely grant and donor reporting in accordance with stakeholder requirements. Streamlined processes for intercompany reconciliation and financial consolidation.
Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent). Experience in multi-jurisdictional financial control, preferably in emerging markets. Strong technical accounting, audit, and financial reporting skills. Prior experience with accounting software implementation and integrations. Familiarity with ZRA tax and accounting compliance is a plus. Experience with grant, donor, and technical assistance financial reporting. Ability to work across time zones and manage remote teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Willingness and ability to travel frequently to all operational sites.
