Position Summary
The Finance & Administrative Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day administrative operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and experience within a service-driven or logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
- Oversee daily accounting operations including invoicing, receipting, payables, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly trial balances, management accounts, and financial reports
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets
- Ensure timely billing of customers and follow-up on outstanding debtors
- Ensure Compliance to Statutory obligations and established internal procedures.
- Manage payroll, statutory deductions, and tax compliance
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities(ZRA,ZICTA,NAPSA,WORKERS COMPENSATION E.T.C)
Administration
- Supervise administrative staff and office operations
- Maintain accurate financial and operational records
- Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting
- Oversee procurement, supplier management, and office administration
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
- Must be a member of ZICA
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in accounting and administrative management
- Experience in a courier, logistics, transport, or service-based company is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of Pastel accounting software and MS Excel
- Understanding of local tax and statutory requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
