Responsibilities
The Senior Human Resource Officer will be responsible for a range of HR functions, including but not limited to:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Managing recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, and interviewing.
- Administering employee benefits and compensation programs.
- Providing guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Assisting in performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification from the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management.
- Strong knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
