We are urgently seeking qualified, experienced and safety-conscious professionals to join our mining operations. Successful candidates will contribute to safe production, equipment reliability, engineering excellence and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the position, successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating and supervising mining and project activities.
  • Supporting safe and efficient underground mining operations.
  • Operating and supervising specialized mining equipment and machinery.
  • Conducting equipment inspections and identifying maintenance requirements.
  • Planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Supervising mechanical and electrical engineering activities.
  • Maintaining mining vehicles, trucks, scrapers, drilling equipment and other machinery.
  • Providing technical guidance, coaching and training to operators and maintenance teams.
  • Supporting mine planning, production, ventilation, surveying and ground-control activities.
  • Monitoring equipment performance, availability and reliability.
  • Managing contractors, contracts and commercial activities where applicable.
  • Ensuring compliance with approved mining procedures and operational standards.
  • Conducting safety inspections, audits, training and toolbox meetings.
  • Promoting compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.
  • Preparing operational, technical, maintenance and performance reports.
  • Identifying operational risks and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve production and safety targets.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have relevant qualifications, licences, certifications and practical experience appropriate to the position applied for.

Depending on the role, requirements may include:

  • Relevant degree, diploma, trade certificate or technical qualification in Mining, Engineering, Surveying, Electrical, Mechanical, SHEQ, Commercial/Contracts Management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in mining, underground operations, engineering, equipment maintenance or project management.
  • Relevant supervisory or management experience for senior positions.
  • Valid professional or statutory licences where applicable.
  • Class C and above SADC driving licence for driver positions.
  • Proven experience operating or maintaining relevant mining equipment for operator and maintenance positions.
  • Strong knowledge of mining safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
