Purpose of Role: Manage/distribute stock for Zambian customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus Area:Receive stock and spares on the ERP system.
    · Focus Area: Control of incoming and outgoing stock.
    · Focus Area: Picking and packing of customer orders.
    · Focus Area: Inspection of parts for potential defects.
  • Focus Area:  Load and unload trucks.
  • Focus Area:  From time-to-time on site stock counts.
  • Focus Area:Correct identification of Weir ESCO Parts.
  • Focus Area:Perform weekly stock cycle counts.
  • Focus Area:Perform Quarterly Wall to Wall Counts.
  • Focus Area:Maintain delivery vehicles and operate all vehicles / machinery with necessary care and diligence.
    · Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12/Supply Chain qualification
    · Computer Literate – MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Forklift and Mobile Crane License will be an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.

3 years related technical experience in mining equipment/ mining environment. Qualified Artisan. Valid driver’s license & Passport Computer literacy. Technical report writing experience. You will be a proactive, confident and self-motivated individual that takes pride in quality of work you deliver with the ability to work under pressure. You should possess solid communication, presentation, technical solutions and relationship building skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and honor customer commitments.
