Background

we are looking for a qualified and experienced Storeman to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a logistics environment and specifically in the tire section — managing, issuing, and controlling tires for heavy-duty trucks and fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, issue, and maintain accurate records of tires and related inventory.
• Monitor tire movement, usage, and stock levels to ensure proper accountability.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure all tires are properly tagged, stored, and tracked in the system.
• Liaise with the workshop and fleet departments to ensure timely tire replacements and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years’ experience working as a storeman in a logistics or transport company.
• Proven experience managing tires and related stock for trucks/fleet.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
