Background
Sure Marks Limited is seeking a Stores Officer to join their team in Ndola, Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Following established standards and procedures for issuing and receiving stock.
- Monitoring inventory levels and compiling stock orders based on par levels.
- Maintaining accurate and organized records, including reports and invoices.
- Verifying that goods received correspond with approved purchase orders.
- Ensuring storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and working closely with the Purchasing Department.
- Troubleshooting vendor delivery issues and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Verifying, tracking, and reporting inventory movements.
- Ensuring the safe custody of all materials while maintaining quality and quantity standards.
- Preparing and submitting monthly inventory reports by the 5th day of each month.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the workplace at all times.
- Performing any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Store Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A valid Driver’s License (added advantage).
- Computer literacy with good knowledge of inventory and record management.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of Ndola.
- Applicants must include their salary expectation in the application.
