Background

Sure Marks Limited is seeking a Stores Officer to join their team in Ndola, Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Following established standards and procedures for issuing and receiving stock.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and compiling stock orders based on par levels.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized records, including reports and invoices.
  • Verifying that goods received correspond with approved purchase orders.
  • Ensuring storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
  • Conducting regular inventory audits and working closely with the Purchasing Department.
  • Troubleshooting vendor delivery issues and resolving stock discrepancies.
  • Verifying, tracking, and reporting inventory movements.
  • Ensuring the safe custody of all materials while maintaining quality and quantity standards.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly inventory reports by the 5th day of each month.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the workplace at all times.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Store Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A valid Driver’s License (added advantage).
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of inventory and record management.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of Ndola.
  • Applicants must include their salary expectation in the application.
