Mission of the role:

The mission of this position is to strengthen and advance Supply Chain excellence across the Eastern and Central African Region. By managing the Supply Chain Operations Centre in close collaboration with the Regional Supply Chain Operations Manager and team members, the role ensures that divisional and Customer Center requirements are consistently met. This position is accountable for staffing, monitoring, reporting, and driving continuous improvement in operational performance. As a positive and committed leader, the incumbent will champion the transformation of Supply Chain into a strategic competitive advantage for Epiroc and our valued customers.

Your Mission:

  • Provide comprehensive support for Supply Chain activities across the Eastern & Central African Region, ensuring divisional and Customer Center requirements are consistently met
  • Lead and manage the Supply Chain Operations Centre (SCOC) in close collaboration with the Regional Supply Chain Operations Manager and team members
  • Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and resource allocation to maintain effective operational coverage
  • Monitor, track, and report on SCOC performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability in operational outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness within the Supply Chain function
  • Ensure alignment of regional operations with global Supply Chain standards and divisional expectations
  • Act as a proactive leader, fostering collaboration, engagement, and professional growth among team members
  • Champion the transformation of Supply Chain into a strategic competitive advantage, delivering value to Epiroc and its customers through operational excellence and innovation

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Experience needed

  • Minimum 5 Years of Supply Chain Experience, of which 2 years’ at management level
  • Academic degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Special Knowledge, Certification or Licenses in Supply Chain and/or Logistics an asset
  • Skillful MS Office user (mainly Excel, Powerpoint & Word)
  • Thorough understanding of domestic and international sales order throughput processes
  • Thorough understanding in logistic and distribution processes and compliance
  • Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
  • Additional local languages are preferred
