Keda Zambia Ceramics is seeking a qualified and experienced Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for land, construction, and site surveys to support factory operations, infrastructure development, and expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct land, topographical, and construction surveys for plant and site development
  • Measure and map site boundaries, elevations, and layouts accurately
  • Prepare survey reports, drawings, and records
  • Set out and verify construction works according to approved designs
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers
  • Assist in resolving site measurement and alignment issues

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven work experience as a Surveyor
  • Valid professional certification or registration (added advantage)
  • Proficiency in surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, etc.)
  • Computer literacy, including AutoCAD and surveying software

  • Strong knowledge of land and construction surveying principles
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret drawings, maps, and specifications
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
