The Opportunity
Join Motion Metrics as a Systems Specialist based onsite at Barrick Lumwana Mine, Zambia. You’ll become the trusted technical expert ensuring our intelligent mining technologies perform at their best, helping customers maximise uptime, improve operational efficiency and gain greater value from world-class automation and machine vision solutions.
The Impact you’ll have
- Become the trusted technical partner for one of our key mining customers.
- Deliver technology solutions that improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
- Work with advanced AI, machine vision and industrial automation systems.
- Build strong relationships with site teams through expert technical support.
- Influence continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise system performance.
- Grow your expertise within a global technology business shaping the future of mining.
What you need to succeed
- IT qualification or recognised Artisan trade (Millwright, Electrician or Diesel Mechanic).
- 3-5 years’ experience supporting industrial systems within mining or heavy industry.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, networking and database environments.
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while building trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Valid driver’s licence and commitment to working safely in a mining environment.
