We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:

Position: Team Leader – Packaging

Location: Kitwe

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidates will be accountable for the following:

• Executing effective production planning and implementation.
• Ensuring 100% availability of raw materials. Physical stock counting of all packaging raw materials.
• Documenting all packaging processes and stock movement timeously and accurately.
• Generating of accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Conducting process checks for every brew.
• Ensuring 100% availability of good quality product.
• Effective utilities management to ensure optimum usage of all utilities.
• Effective management of packaging team with sound industrial relations.
• Continual improvement of packaging section technical audit scores.
• Achieving profitability measures through adhering to cost control measures.
• Adherence to SHEQ and Manufacturing Improvement systems.

The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, Production Management, or related science fields
• Knowledge of SAP is added advantage.
• At least 2 years working experience in FMCG industry.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player
• Effective communicator, Sober minded, hardworking, and problem-solving skills

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
