We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
Position: Team Leader – Packaging
Location: Kitwe
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidates will be accountable for the following:
- Executing effective production planning and implementation.
- Ensuring 100% availability of raw materials. Physical stock counting of all packaging raw materials.
- Documenting all packaging processes and stock movement timeously and accurately.
- Generating of accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Conducting process checks for every brew.
- Ensuring 100% availability of good quality product.
- Effective utilities management to ensure optimum usage of all utilities.
- Effective management of packaging team with sound industrial relations.
- Continual improvement of packaging section technical audit scores.
- Achieving profitability measures through adhering to cost control measures.
- Adherence to SHEQ and Manufacturing Improvement systems.
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, Production Management, or related science fields
- Knowledge of SAP is added advantage.
- At least 2 years working experience in FMCG industry.
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- Effective communicator, Sober minded, hardworking, and problem-solving skills
