We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Advisor – Youth, Disability & Gender Inclusion to provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for initiatives that promote equitable access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services for adolescents, young people, women, men, and persons with disabilities.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative, inclusive, and gender-transformative strategies across service delivery channels. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that youth, disability, and gender considerations are effectively integrated into programmes, policies, and service delivery approaches.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, government institutions, development partners, civil society organizations, and disability-focused organizations to strengthen access to quality SRH services and contribute to organisational growth and impact.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or technical advisory role.
- Experience in strategic planning and programme implementation.
- Proven experience in youth-friendly programming and service design.
- Strong knowledge of gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, and disability-inclusive development approaches.
- Experience working with government institutions, NGOs, civil society organizations, and community-based organisations.
- Experience designing and facilitating training, mentorship, and capacity-strengthening initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in English.
Desirable
- Additional training or certification in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Youth Programming, Disability Inclusion, or Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.
