Background

EcoHive Energy Systems, a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions in Zambia, is looking for a Technical Director / Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and oversee our growing portfolio of energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and oversee daily operations and technical functions of the company.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and commissioning of solar, power backup, LPG, and mobility solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with the CEO and management team on strategic planning, project execution, and innovation initiatives.
• Manage teams of technicians and field staff, providing mentorship and professional development.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in operations management or technical leadership in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, backup power, and renewable energy solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams efficiently.
