The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Technical Manager to oversee our technical operations and engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical team, managing complex project deployments, and ensuring that our surveillance, access control, and IT infrastructure services are delivered to the highest industry standards. This role bridges the gap between high-level project strategy and hands-on technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of technicians, system installers, and IT specialists.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of IP surveillance (CCTV), biometric access control, and integrated alarm systems.
• Server & Network Administration: Manage client server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Cybersecurity Oversight: Implement and monitor security protocols across client infrastructures to mitigate risks and respond to potential threats.
• Project Management: Drive technical projects from initial site survey and design through to execution, testing, and final handover.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous technical standards and SOPs for all installations and maintenance contracts.
• Client Consultation: Act as a technical subject matter expert during pre-sales meetings and post-delivery support to ensure client requirements are fully met.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in a technical leadership role, specifically within the electronic security or IT managed services industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with VMS platforms, networking (CCNA level preferred), server virtualization, and security hardware (Hikvision, Dahua, Gallagher, etc.).
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects simultaneously.
