Role Description

The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ndola, responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration within an assigned territory. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing customers, and promoting Airtel Business Africa’s connectivity, cloud, and digital payment solutions. The Territory Sales Manager will conduct regular customer visits, present tailored solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role includes monitoring territory performance, preparing sales forecasts and reports, coordinating with internal teams to support service delivery, and providing product training and guidance to channel partners and key accounts.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Management skills, including territory planning, pipeline management, and closing complex deals.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly, influence stakeholders, and build trust-based relationships.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, demonstrating responsiveness, empathy, and a commitment to resolving customer issues effectively.
  • Candidates should possess Training skills, with the capability to guide partners and customers on products, services, and best practices.
  • Relevant experience in B2B telecom, ICT, or digital solutions sales is highly beneficial.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a defined territory is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in basic productivity and CRM tools.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ndola, travel within the territory as required, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
