Healthlane Medical Centre is inviting applications for the position of Theatre Nurse.

Theatre Nurse (1 Position)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-operative patient assessments and preparation to ensure patients are ready for surgery;
• assist the surgical team during procedures by performing duties as a scrub nurse, including handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon;
• maintain a sterile operating environment at all times to prevent infections and ensure patient safety; and
• provide post-operative patient monitoring and recovery care to track vital signs, manage pain, and identify any complications promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma in Theatre Nursing or equivalent
• Full registration with NMCZ
• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Strong communication, teamwork, and emergency response skills
