The Travel Agent/Consultant will be responsible for planning, selling, and coordinating domestic and international travel services, including flights, accommodation, tours, visas, and travel insurance. The role focuses on delivering seamless travel experiences, cost-effective solutions, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand travel needs, budgets, and preferences
  • Design customized travel itineraries (leisure, corporate, group, and VIP travel)
  • Book flights, hotels, transfers, tours, and travel insurance
  • Advise clients on visa requirements, travel documentation, and entry regulations
  • Handle ticketing, reissues, refunds, cancellations, and schedule changes
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive rates and added value
  • Manage travel emergencies and provide 24/7 support when required
  • Ensure compliance with airline, visa, and immigration regulations
  • Maintain accurate booking records, invoices, and client databases
  • Upsell travel packages, tours, and ancillary services

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field
  • IATA or equivalent travel certification (advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of global travel destinations and airline policies
