Background
Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is currently seeking to employ a Tyre Fitter in the Maintenance Department to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
The Tyre Fitter will be responsible for all tyre inspections, repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and light vehicles to optimize safety and operational reliability.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To remove, fit and replace tyres on trucks and other vehicles.
- Inspect tyre wear, damage and repair punctured and pressure issues.
- Maintain correct tyre pressure and ensure proper alignment when required.
- Perform tyre rotation to ensure even wear and longer tyre lifespan.
- Record tyre serial numbers and submit to the store for record computation.
- Participate in repair work and other related duties or service activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Trade/Craft Certificate will be an added advantage.
- Grade twelve (12) Certificate.
- At least three (03) years of maintenance experience, preferably in a transport and logistics company.
- Must be a permanent resident of Ndola or willing to relocate.
- Basic knowledge in mechanics will be an added advantage.
Additional Notes
All interviews and assessments are strictly in-person, at our Sakania Yard in Ndola.
