JOB DETAILS:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our fleet maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tyre fitting, balancing, and repair for both light and heavy-duty vehicles, with a strong commitment to safety and service quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fit, remove, rotate, and balance tyres on trucks, trailers, and small company vehicles.
• Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and pressure irregularities.
• Repair punctures and replace damaged tyres in line with safety standards.
• Operate tyre-fitting equipment and maintain workshop cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate service records and report tyre usage trends.
• Ensure compliance with Zambian road safety and transport regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Trade or craft certificate in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive electrical systems.
• Familiar with heavy duty transport tyres and fleet operations.
• Must be a Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent issues calmly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
