About NAPSA

The National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) is a statutory body established under the National Pension Scheme Act No. 40 of 1996. NAPSA is responsible for the administration and management of the National Pension Scheme. The Authority’s mandate is to provide social security benefits to members in Zambia.

The Role

NAPSA is looking for dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented individuals to fill the positions of Underwriting Assistants and Accounts Clerks. These roles are crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Authority’s core functions.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the underwriting process, including risk assessment and policy issuance.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and processing transactions.
  • Reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Providing support to the finance and underwriting departments.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for these positions, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate with at least five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics.
  • For Underwriting Assistants: A Diploma in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • For Accounts Clerks: A Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA Level II, ZICA Technician, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
