Key Responsibilities:

Student Academic Logistics

  • Registration – course enrolments and class registration
  • Verification of admission documents and student data
  • Tracking student progression, deferments, suspensions, and transfers

Examinations Administration

Student Data Management:

  • Maintaining accurate student databases

Graduation and Certification

  • Verifying eligibility for graduation
  • Issuing certificates, diplomas, and transcripts

Academic Scheduling

  • Coordinating academic calendars
  • Managing timetables for classes and examinations

Quality Assurance & Regulations

  • Ensuring that the curriculum is accredited with regulatory authorities
  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing academic regulations and policies
  • Advising students and staff on academic procedures

Academic Records & Governance

  • Maintaining transcripts, academic histories, grades, and degree progress
  • Providing verification of student enrolment to employers or institutions
  • Preparing statistical and academic reports for university management, Council, and government agencies
  • Management of Council and Committee meetings
  • Supporting communication between academic departments and administration
  • Staff Training and Development and talent management

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or related Business field
  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in registrar functions or academic administration
  • Deep understanding of the Higher Education Authority Act and higher education compliance
  • Human Resource qualification is an added advantage

  • Strategic thinker with a student-centered mindset, strong leadership, effective communication skills, and ability to manage diverse cultural backgrounds
