JOB DETAILS:

This is a supervisory role focused on driving the performance and profitability of the used car sales department.

Core Responsibilities:

• Team Management & Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and manage a team of used car sales consultants.
  • Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training to address skill gaps.
  • Manage team schedules, shifts, and daily assignments on the sales floor.
• Sales & Business Development:
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed the department's sales and profitability goals.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure and delivery.
  • Handle complex customer negotiations and step in to assist sales consultants as needed.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to price used vehicles competitively.
• Inventory & Yard Management:
  • Work with the procurement team to manage used vehicle inventory levels, ensuring a desirable mix of models.
  • Oversee the presentation and merchandising of vehicles on the yard (cleanliness, pricing displays, positioning).
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly prepared for sale (mechanical checks, valeting).
• Reporting & Administration:
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports to senior management (e.g., sales figures, conversion rates, team performance).
  • Monitor and manage the department's budget and expenses.
  • Ensure all sales paperwork and financial agreements are completed accurately and compliantly.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
