Voice for Human Rights is seeking passionate, organized, and committed individuals to serve as Volunteer Unit Coordinators across the following departments:
- Health & Disability Unit (1 Position)
- Legal Research & Documentation Unit (1 Position)
- Advocacy & Programs Unit (1 Position)
- Volunteer Engagement Unit (1 Position)
- Media & Communications Unit (1 Position)
The successful candidates will support the coordination of activities within their assigned units, facilitate communication among volunteers, assist with scheduling and planning, and contribute to the implementation of organizational initiatives.
Responsibilities or duties
- Coordinate communication within the assigned unit.
- Organize meetings, engagements, and departmental activities.
- Maintain calendars and monitor deadlines.
- Follow up on tasks and action points.
- Support planning and implementation of projects and campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with other coordinators, volunteers, and leadership.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Interest in human rights, advocacy, public health, legal research, communications, or community development.
Experience needed
- Prior experience in leadership, coordination, volunteer management, advocacy, research, communications, media, health, or related fields is an added advantage but not required.
