Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Mazabuka. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if trained and certified).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
