Job Summary

The Warehouse Trainee supports warehouse operations while gaining hands-on experience in inventory control, stock handling, and logistics processes. The role is suitable for candidates with some basic knowledge or exposure to warehouse or logistics environments who are looking to develop their careers in supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock deliveries
• Support proper storage and organization of goods within the warehouse
• Participate in picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control systems
• Conduct routine stock counts and support cycle counting activities
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with SOPs
• Assist in loading and offloading of goods under supervision
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or stock variances to supervisors
• Support use of basic warehouse management systems (where applicable)
• Follow instructions from warehouse supervisors and team leaders

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• Some knowledge or exposure to warehouse, stock control, or logistics operations (internship, attachment, or informal experience acceptable)
• Ability to understand and follow warehouse procedures
• Good numeracy and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
• Strong teamwork, discipline, and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a logistics environment
