Role Overview
Highly organized operations/administration professional to be the engine room of the workshop. You will coordinate and control all operations from job intake to completion, ensuring efficient planning of WIP, inventory control, and commercial administration.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop Operations
- Plan, monitor, and manage WIP
- Open/close jobs in the management system
- Track turnaround times and resolve bottlenecks
Inventory & Stores
- Monitor stock levels of critical spare parts
- Raise procurement requisitions and perform stock reconciliations
Commercial & Admin
- Assist with job costing: labor, materials, outsourced services
- Ensure accurate job cards, quotations, and inspection reports
- Liaise with Accounts for smooth invoicing
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain precise records using Sage Evolution
- Prepare performance reports: WIP status, productivity metrics
Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Operations Management
- 2+ years in workshop administration, inventory management, manufacturing, or engineering support
- Experience in pump repair or industrial equipment environments is a major plus
- Proficiency in Sage Evolution and Microsoft 365
- Technical mindset: willingness to learn basics of centrifugal pumps, mechanical seals, bearings, and general workshop practices

- Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
- High level of integrity, accountability, and self-motivation
