JOB DETAILS:

Role Overview:

The Workshop Manager will oversee the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of the company’s earthmoving equipment, vehicles, and workshop facilities, ensuring maximum availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs and major rebuild projects.
• Supervise and mentor mechanical technicians and supervisors, allocating daily tasks efficiently.
• Maintain effective communication with clients regarding equipment status and issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance, preferably within mining, construction, earthmoving, or equipment hire sectors.
• Strong reporting, communication, and computer skills.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
