Location: Rockview University (Rock Farms – 10 Miles & Kapiri Mposhi)

Rockview University is seeking a hardworking and experienced Farm Supervisor to oversee operations at its Rock Farms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily farm activities, managing both crop and livestock production, and ensuring efficient and sustainable farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily farm operations, including crop production and livestock management.
- Supervise planting, cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, and animal care.
- Monitor livestock health, feeding, breeding, and general welfare.
- Ensure proper crop management, including pest control, fertilization, and weed management.
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, inputs, production, and sales.
- Prepare regular reports on farm performance, yields, and expenses.
- Supervise and train farm workers, ensuring efficient task allocation.
- Oversee maintenance of farm infrastructure, machinery, and irrigation systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate sourcing and storage of farm inputs and distribution of produce.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and efficient use of farm resources.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with strong passes in English, Mathematics, and Science.
- Diploma or Degree in Crop Science, General Agriculture, or Animal Science (mandatory).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in farm supervision, preferably in mixed farming.
- Proven experience in managing both crop and livestock operations.
- Prior experience supervising farm workers or teams.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of modern farming practices, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to multitask and manage farm operations effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergencies.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and adaptable.
- High level of attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
