Company Overview
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a leading international construction and engineering company, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial operations at the Head Office in Lusaka.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Support internal and external audits
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience or less
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Driver’s License
