Job Purpose
To manage the provision of radiological diagnosis, imaging and intervention services in order to confirm diagnosis of ailments and facilitate treatments.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Commanding Officer - Radiology and shall be responsible for:
a) Managing effectively the development and implementation of guidelines and standard protocols in order to ensure standardised delivery of medical Imaging and Interventional Services.
b) Managing effectively the provision of imaging in order to confirm diagnosis.
c) Managing effectively the provision of intervention services in order to improve patients' health outcomes.
d) Managing effectively the conduct of radiology diagnosis in order to facilitate prescriptions of treatment.
e) Managing effectively performance assessment and quality assurance/improvement of Medical Imaging and interventional Services in order to ensure adherence to set standards and improve service delivery
f) Managing effectively the development and implementation of medical Imaging and interventional capacity building programmes in order to impart appropriate skills and knowledge in practitioners.
g) Managing effectively the development and implementation of medical Imaging and interventional capacity building programmes in order to impart appropriate skills and knowledge in practitioners.
h) Managing periodically monitoring and evaluation of the provision of medical Imaging and Interventional Service in order to facilitate implementation of appropriate interventions

Qualifications
The applicant must have the following requisite qualifications:
a) A Full Grade Twelve (12VForm 5 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) O'Level Credits or its equivalent. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Master's Degree in Radiology Valid Practicing Licence
b) 12 years working experience, 2 of which should be in radiology
