Background

CHINA COPPER MINES LIMITED (CCM) was established in 2010 as a large-scale mining group established by private owning groups in the Republic of Zambia, known as the “country of copper mines”. The company’s business scope covers resource exploration, mining, hydrometallurgy, sulfuric acid chemical industry, trading and mining investment. In recent years, CCM had sprung up in the mining industry in Zambia with outstanding performance; in particular, the “low-grade, complex and difficult ore-treating process” is a leading technology with great technical and economic advantages. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate high-volume fuel pumps, bowser, and mobile refueling trucks to fill mining machinery and light vehicles.
• Record physical master meter readings, dip stick levels, machine hours, and exact fuel quantities issued per vehicle.
• Verify fleet numbers and equipment “mine numbers,” ensuring fuel is only provided to authorized vehicles.
• Immediately clean up fuel or oil spills and check all fuel bay pipes and equipment for environmental hazards or leaks.
• Complete fuel registers and hand over strict paperwork to the fuel supervisor at the end of every shift.
• Keep the fuel farm or fuel bay clean, tidy, and compliant with industrial safety regulations.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 school certificate with passes in mathematics and English for accurate data entry.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience handling petroleum products, bulk liquids, or working within an industrial mining environment.
• Basic computer or clerical experience to accurately handle fuel sheets, digital tags, or card tracking systems.
• A valid silicosis certificate
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and an untampered record for zero-tolerance security environments.
• Grade 12 certificate.
