JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE
To undertake the provision of engineering and public address services in order to facilitate the dissemination of information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be reporting to Senior Maintenance Engineer and shall be responsible for:
• Undertaking effectively installation of equipment, fittings and appliances in order to facilitate their operation:
• Undertaking effectively the development of maintenance plans in order to facilitate maintenance of equipment;
• Undertaking timely maintenance and repairing of equipment, fittings and appliances in order to prolong their lifespan and restore them to working condition;
• Undertaking effectively the provision of technical support in the delivery of public address and mobile video show services in order to facilitate smooth dissemination of information;
• Undertaking effectively the decommissioning of obsolete equipment in order to facilitate its disposal;
• Undertaking effectively the implementation of television and radio programme schedules in order to ensure orderly delivery of programmes;
• Supervising timely the development of work plans and implementation of the performance management system in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance; and
• Supervising effectively human and other resources in order to facilitate attainment of set objectives

QUALIFICATIONS
The applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) Credits including English Language and Mathematics or its equivalent;
• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics or its equivalent; and
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
