Background:

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity and performance tracking for the MarketConnect component of the TSP project. This role involves designing and implementing a robust M&E plan, overseeing data collection and analysis, and ensuring high-quality reporting. The expert will support program learning through regular impact assessments, manage the project’s MIS system, and provide training to partners and staff on M&E best practices. Additionally, the M&E Expert will track disbursements, identifying risks, and capturing success stories to inform stakeholders and enhance project visibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Demography, Business Admin/Management or related field
• Master's degree in Development Studies, Demography, Business Admini/Management or related field
• Minimum of eight years' experience in monitoring and evaluation
• Experience with M&E packages such as Excel, ComCare, Stata, SPSS, Kobo Toolbox etc.
• Hands-on data collection and data management experience
• Able to manage research activities and ensure outcomes are integrated into the project
• Ability to develop databases and undertake surveys
• Passionate and committed to work
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Member of a professional body
