Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is currently seeking to employ a Security Supervisor to add value to our growing team.

JOB PURPOSE

To oversee and coordinate all security operations to ensure the safety and protection of company property, employees, and visitors. The Security Supervisor will provide leadership, discipline, and tactical expertise, preferably drawing on experience from the Zambia Police or Army.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and monitor daily activities of security officers and ensure full compliance with company security policies.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of premises to identify security risks and ensure proper functioning of security systems.
• Develop and implement security procedures and emergency response plans.
• Train and mentor security staff in discipline, safety procedures, and professional conduct.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and equipment issued to officers.
• Conduct regular briefings and debriefings for all security personnel.
• Ensure officers are properly dressed, alert, and performing their duties effectively.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with a credit or better in English and Mathematics.
• Any Higher Education will be an added advantage.
• Former member of the Zambia Police Service or Army will be added advantage.
• Minimum of Three (3) years of work experience as a Security Supervisor.
• Must reside in Ndola or willing to re-locate.

• Ability to prepare reports and maintain confidentiality.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure, including night shifts and weekends.

• Team player with strong command presence.
