Job Overview: We are seeking dynamic and results-drivenWorkshop Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring timely and high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs
- Supervise workshop staff including mechanics, technicians, and support personnel.
- Ensure all jobs are executed according to technical standards and company policies.
- Monitor job cards, workflow, and productivity to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure the availability of spare parts for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Report on workshop performance, budgets, and KPIs to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in workshop management, preferably in commercial vehicle servicing.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong knowledge of truck/bus mechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workshop management systems.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
