Qualification & Experience Required

Minimum Grade 12 certificate (preferred).

Previous experience in cashiering or customer service is an advantage.

Basic math and strong attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Honest, reliable, and punctual.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent front-desk service.
• Take orders (dine-in, take-away, or phone orders where applicable).
• Process payments using cash, card, mobile money, or POS systems.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and correct change accurately.
• Maintain and balance the cash register at the start and end of shifts.
• Record all sales transactions correctly in the system.
• Assist in packing take-away orders when needed.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and escalate issues to management.
• Ensure the cashier area is clean, organized, and presentable.
• Support waiters and kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Follow all restaurant cash-handling and safety procedures.
