- Monitor food stock levels and support inventory management including stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and labeling ingredients and supplies appropriately.
- Contribute ideas to menu planning and support new dish development when requested.
- Minimize food waste by implementing proper handling and storage practices.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned to support smooth daily operations.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),
- Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards to maintain compliance.
- Basic culinary skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Capability to follow instructions accurately and consistently.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and safely handle kitchen equipment.
Experience needed,
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
