ASSISTANT CHEF

Responsibilities:

• Help the chef with food preparation and cooking.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times.
• Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients before cooking.
• Assist in serving and plating food.
• Make sure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and properly stored.
• Follow food safety and hygiene rules.
• Help with stock checking and reporting when supplies are running low.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have completed Grade 12 with a full certificate.
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a restaurant, café, or hotel kitchen.
• Should be neat, organized, and able to follow instructions.
• Must be punctual and willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
