Position: Chinese Translator

Location: CCECC HEAD OFFICE ,LUSAKA

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chinese Translator to support our engineering, construction, and project management operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate oral and written translation between Chinese and English, ensuring smooth communication across teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written documents, including contracts, reports, technical manuals, and correspondence, between Chinese and English
• Provide oral interpretation during meetings, site discussions, and official engagements
• Assist management and technical teams with cross-cultural communication
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency in all translations
• Support project documentation and administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

• Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese and English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Certificate in Chinese Language or a related field
• Previous experience as a translator (construction or engineering background is an advantage)
• Proficiency in MS Office and translation tool
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Driver's Licence
• Age: below 40 years
